Gian Marco Verdone is finalist at the GIL Soundtrack Award 2024

For the third consecutive edition, Gian Marco Verdone is among the six finalists (out of one hundred participants) of the GIL Soundtrack Award 2024, one of the most important international competitions of composition for images in the world, organized by “GIL FAMILY ESTATES”, an important and renowned Spanish wine producer.

The aim of the competition was the production of an original soundtrack (and presentation of the relative score for symphony orchestra), for the short film “Off-Wine”, directed by Gerard Vidal Cortés (Barcelona, 1994), produced by ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya) and with the participation of the Spanish actress Ivana Baquero.

For the international jury, chaired by the Spanish producer Esther García Rodríguez, winner of 3 Goya Awards, the song presented by Gian Marco (“Modo Humano”) is “full of brilliant ideas that give an idea of his creative capacity, placing it among the highest levels”
